Over the past decade, I have devoted myself to the study of astrology, while actively consulting for the last seven years. For me, astrology is not merely a practice; it represents a philosophy of conscious living. As a Gemini with an Aquarius ascendant and the assertive energy of an Aries moon, I harbor a strong inclination toward achieving goals and confronting challenges head-on. Born under the conjunction of Saturn and Pluto, I am naturally inclined to delve deeply into concepts and organize them systematically.
I started my astrological exploration with Western astrology before tapping into Horary astrology. I believe that planetary cycles serve as the fundamental timekeepers of the universe, confronting us with the ups and downs of life. My explorations into Uranian Astrology, specifically the Hamburg School technique, has been enabling me to make useful predictions that are usually correct both in terms of content and timing. I bring an analytical approach to astrology, combining empirical evidence with thorough chart analysis. Whether I am interpreting natal charts or analyzing transits, my main goal is to reveal the intricate connections that may be influencing individuals’ lives.
In 2020, I pioneered Turkey’s first astrology calendar, furnishing detailed ephemeris data alongside enlightening commentary for each day. This led to another calendar, which was published in 2021. During this period, I was also a columnist for the Turkish newspaper “Cumhuriyet,” delivering weekly forecasts and writing about significant planetary movements. Between 2018-20, I contributed monthly astrological forecasts to “Female,” a women’s magazine in Turkey. My Instagram page, “@biryildizgozlemcisi” (which translates as: “a star gazer”) continues to offer daily insights into planetary transits and forecasts.
I studied Astronautical Engineering and earned my Master’s degree from the Istanbul Technical University in 2012. I am also highly trained in trading and finance. My analytical mind came in handy during my engineering studies, and it is now supporting my explorations into astrology. Currently, I am also diving deeper into financial astrology, leveraging my abilities for breaking things down to uncover some useful insights for the trading and financial community.
I am based in the Netherlands where I live with my husband and son. I’m fluent in both Turkish and English. My main aspiration for astrology is to integrate this tremendous body of knowledge with other disciplines, for our personal growth and happiness as well as for the benefit of our social interactions. I believe that each astrologer’s path is unique, driven by their interests, values, and vision for their practice; mine is driven by my desire to help contribute to Astrology’s relevance in contemporary society and our individual lives.
